Polycarbonate

Polycarbonate is an amorphous thermoplastic first made at Bayer and General Electric in 1957. It is often used in construction applications requiring transparent material and is easily machined, molded and thermoformed.
Polycarbonate has high mechanical strength, is biologically inert, and has good resistance to heat and impact.
